Each year BrandCharity, the foundation created by employees of BrandLoyalty, asks colleagues for their suggestions of charities that should receive a Give2Give grant.
This year, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of BrandCharity, 15 projects were chosen to receive 2,500Euros, and the other 17 applications that were put forward will receive 1,000Euros.
The Give2Give charities chosen in 2019 are:
LAR CASA BELA (Brazil)
An educational, non-profit, philanthropic organistaion that was founded in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo in 2012. The NGO offers residential accommodation for a group of children and adolescents from the age of 0-17 years, who are in a situation of personal and social risk and whose families are temporarily unable to fulfill their care and protection function.
The Moving Forward Programme (Canada)
Located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, the Moving Forward Day Programme is a day programme for adults with special needs and disabilities. It focuses on helping clients transition from secondary school towards greater independence by community inclusion as well as personalised development and care.
Heart to Heart (China)
A charity foundation that provides corrective surgery for Chinese children from all over China with congenital heart defects (CHD) whose parents are unable to afford the surgery. To date H2H has sponsored over 1,142 children for heart surgery. The surgeries not only saved their lives but transformed the lives of their families.
Nepal School (Nepal)
After earthquake in Nepal in 2015 this organisation aims to rebuild schools, buying books and furniture for the children in the school.
Bachi Amaa (Nepal)
Supporting and empowering the most vulnerable children in Nepal to create opportunities for themselves and others in their own community. It’s a small but really effective charity focusing on children that are affected by leprosy or have an handicap - by supporting their education and guiding the children and parents in their own community.
A.L.S. Stichting (Netherlands)
A charity with the goal to eliminate muscle disease through medical research.
Stichting Jarige Job (Netherlands)
This charity organisation provides children (of families who live in poverty) in the Netherlands a birthday box on their birthday in order to celebrate their birthday at home or at school. This impacts yearly more than 61,000 children.
Stichting Team Danielle (Netherlands)
Team Danielle is giving lectures at schools in order to warn children about the use of XTC and other drugs.
Cadasil Research (Netherlands)
Financing research to find a cure for a disease called Cadsil. Cadasil causes a protein in your blood, which usually helps keep your blood veins healthy, to mass together and disrupt the blow flow to the brain.
Stichting MeeDoen S&B (Netherlands)
Supporting children and young adults with learning and social difficulties. Stichting MeeDoen S&B is run a buy small number of volunteer parents whom do a fantastic job of organising events and running football teams.
Asociatia dragostea desculta (Romania)
A new association, set up to take care of the children of Negresti, Vaslui, Romania. Negresti is one of the poorest places in Romania.
Help Anastasiya (Russia)
Born in 2003. At the age of 5 Anastasiya survived amputation of both legs to the level of the knees after frostbite. In February she found her passion in athletics and has been noted as a very promising sportsman. At the moment she is working actively on her physical form. Running prosthesis will open new horizons and will give her challenges which will help her to fight and live a full life.
Clean Cooking Revolution (South Africa)
Toxic smoke of household cooking kills one person prematurely every 6 seconds, that is 4.300.000 people every year. The worst part is that it is a very unknown problem, but still kills more than HIV/AIDS and Malaria combined. Therefore, Clean Cooking Revolution created a clean stove so people in the townships can live cleaner, healthier, cheaper and safer.
EduFair (South Africa)
EduFair is a newly formed Charity which focuses on providing funding for children from South Africa, with a previously disadvantaged background, the opportunity to continue their career developments at a University level.
Twende Hockey Foundation (Tanzania)
TWENDE Hockey is a not-for-profit foundation, aiming at improving the economic and social well-being of children and young adults in Africa through Field Hockey.
