Why did you join BrandCharity as a project team member? 
I joined BrandCharity 3 years ago because I like to give back to the community. Not only here at HO, but worldwide. With the business we are doing within BrandLoyalty, it can be an easy side step to also help others in need. We have different disciplines within the company, which we need to use in order to help others. Donating money is one thing, but helping hands are needed as well. I really enjoy connecting with the associations and colleagues worldwide to get the 
best out of BrandCharity! 

Why did you join BrandCharity as a project team member? 
During my student time, I helped people via different initiatives. I like to give something back to the community. When I started working at BrandLoyalty in 2018, I was delighted to see that there is the opportunity to help the people and organisations around us in different ways. An additional plus is because of BrandCharity you not only do something great for the people in need but also get to know colleagues from different departments and NSOs better. 

What does charity mean to you? 
The dictionary says charity is the act of giving help to those in need of it; a humanitarian act. It involves giving money, goods, or time and effort to those who need it. It is done without expecting something in return.

I would add to this description, that every person in this world has their own different types of needs. Whether it's money, education, love, or attention. And as well as everybody has different needs, also every person has its own strengths. I find it a great opportunity to match the strengths with the needs

What does charity mean to you?
Charity is something you do for your inner happiness, not for attention or benefits. And that is exactly what it is and what it means to me. It is good to think of others as well instead of just of yourself. By helping each other, we make the world a nicer place. Something I find very important and to which I, especially now, really want to contribute!

Charity is not only about collecting money or goods for people/animals who need it. It is about making them feel good, nice and safe.  Putting a smile on someone's face or making someone not feel lonely for a moment. That pure piece of what we have inside us as human beings is something that drives me and to which I attach great value! Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much.

What was the most fun or impactful project you have worked on?
In 2017 or 2018 BrandLoyalty Hong Kong office employees volunteered to spend time with elderly people who live in a government housing estate. I spend time with a colleague visiting 4 of 5 people who often lived on their own. These people live on HK island, one of the most densely populated places on earth, but in many cases we were the first people they had seen or interacted with for months. Loneliness is an awful thing, and just listening to people and making them feel seen and heard can be so impactful. It really impacted me, and it motivated me to spend a little of my time each month to visit some elderly acquaintances whose children live in another country and who due to Covid have not seen their family for years now.

Why did you join BrandCharity as a project team member?
Charity is essential, not only for people or communities in need but also for the ones giving a helping hand. The idea of not doing always something for yourself but doing something good for somebody else makes me happy. Helping causes you care about, not only benefits the charities, it is also rewarding for yourself. Giving back is a big part of that, a donation but also making a small gesture can make a big difference. Next to that, I think that being part of this team is a great honor and a unique experience that I can be proud of for the rest of my career/life.

What was the most fun or impactful project you have worked on?
Last year I was able to donate over 500 pallets of Disney plush to organisations around the world (Africa, Hungary, Rumania, and Germany). We have donated the plush to families who have no money, food banks, hospitals, and many more locations. Especially during the C0VID-19 situation, it was a challenge but also a great job that we were able to make this donation. Receiving pictures with happy faces on them was more than a gift for me and it has really touched and encouraged me to continue making people happy. 

What was the most fun or impactful project you have worked on?
I have two favourite activities from BrandCharity in 2020. The first one was the online auction, where we raised money by selling paintings. And the second one was the pub quiz, which was fun to host and a moment of connecting with each other. 

What does charity mean to you?
Charity to me is giving something back to society, being a volunteer to help people, and seeing people smile when they receive help/love from me is uncountable joy. Little effort to people in need can be a big help to them.

What does charity mean to you? 
Charity means giving something to those in need without expecting or wanting something back in return. 

Why did you join BrandCharity as an ambassador?
I joined BrandCharity because this is an important part of Brandloyalty's culture in which I believe. BrandCharity permits me to have an active role in supporting people and communities. Furthermore, it is a good opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues within the Italian NSO and worldwide. We all have a common goal: to improve the lives of people less lucky than us! 

Why did you join BrandCharity as an ambassador member?
I think charity is a great way to give back to the community and gain consciousness of our own privileges while becoming active in our society and local communities. Small or big things can have a huge impact on the world we're living in today. That is why I've joined as an ambassador.

Why did you join BrandCharity as an ambassador? 
I joined the BrandCharity team in 2019 and am glad to have the opportunity to do good deeds. In 2020, The Russian office had some initiatives: 
- Collected plastic lids
- Supported sports schools with equipment and clothes
- Donated to support sick children with cancer to "Konstantin Khabensky Charity"

Why did you join BrandCharity as a NSO ambassador?
I joined because this is me. Charity has been part of my life since I was a little kid. My parents got to know each other through a social project to teach poor people to read (illiterate adults) and build their own houses in really restricted conditions. As a Brazilian citizen and passionate about our people, I feel the responsibility to take real action and minimize the social difference we experience everywhere. I continued my parents' vision since I got conscious of my privileges. I have worked as a mentor for social leaders, I have done projects for social entrepreneurs for small businesses in favelas, and I have a small marketing business with donations for well-structured social projects. I also see charity as a strong driver of inclusion.

I dream of changing the world by giving people access, a voice, opportunity, and know-how to do and express whatever they are meant to be.

What does charity mean to you? 
The feeling of giving back is very fulfilling. I also feel very happy if I see a lot of happy faces in society.

Why did you join BrandCharity as a project team member?
Organizing the sample sales (for 6 years now): because we raise a lot of money for BrandCharity, and make our colleagues happy with nice products. Pub quiz: it was fun to organize and host the pub quiz with Hanna. It was nice to see that colleagues were connected in this difficult period of COVID-19. Online auction: selling nice paintings to colleagues and raising some money for BrandCharity. With the turnover of the auction, we bought 70 supermarket gift cards, this way the less fortunate people in our community could buy a delicious Christmas dinner. 

What was the most fun or impactful project you have worked on?
Christmas Cuddle Campaign, we reached out to children in the townships of Langa and Khayelitsha in Cape Town. During COVID-19 we can't give a physical hug, so that is why we gave children a plush to cuddle. We raised a lot of money for Little Lions Child Coaching. 

Why did you join BrandCharity as an NSO ambassador?
It gives me great pleasure personally and professionally to get involved with Charity. Helping others less fortunate who need essentials for daily living is an unfortunate situation for many. It is a harsh reality that it can happen to anyone. Working with charities to help in ways of donations, fundraising events, or volunteer time is very rewarding. I am interested in initiating, activating, and collaborating with my colleagues to experience the reward of giving to charity. It is a feel-good emotion that is dear to my heart.

What does charity mean to you?
I believe every action has an exponential impact in life. So why not contribute with the good ones? Helping people with vulnerable backgrounds and lack of opportunities to me is like opening a window of hope and showing that it is possible to make a difference. Charity work makes me happy.
