Shoppers at Izumi in Japan can now collect for a range of high-quality Spiegelau glassware. This will be the first 100% digital program for the retailer, with shoppers able to collect through their IZUMI membership. There are six different items to collect, from red and white wine, to champagne and cocktail glasses.
In July, leading Japanese retailer Izumi launched its first 100% digital program. Rewarding shoppers via the IZUMI membership program, when they scan their card or app at the checkout, stamps are automatically added to their digital stamp card.
For every JPY 1,000 spent, shoppers receive one digital stamp, and with a full digital collection of stamps, shoppers can redeem them against a selection of six different glasses. These include red and white wine glasses, champagne glasses, and large and small whiskey glasses.
The program is being strengthened by Spiegelau's brand ambassador, a sommelier, offering shoppers tips and tricks for using the glasses. He has also created videos and acts as a guest speaker for the campaign.
